Toveo is a pre-launch product. This page explains the principles we're building around, and how we'll handle data when the platform goes live.
Children first
Toveo is designed for children. We collect the minimum information needed to make the experience safe and useful — nothing more.
No behavioural profiling
We do not build advertising profiles of children, and we do not sell personal information. Recommendations are based on how a child says they feel — not on tracking.
Secure by design
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, held on trusted infrastructure, and access is tightly restricted to the people who need it to run the service.
Parents in control
Parents own the account. You can review, export, or delete your family's information at any time by contacting us.
What we collect today
Waitlist information
When you join the waitlist we collect your name, email address, and the role you selected (parent, teacher, creator, investor or press, or other). We use this only to keep you updated on Toveo's launch and to understand who is interested in the product.
What we will collect at launch
Only what the product needs
- A parent account (email and password) to set up and manage the family.
- A child profile with a first name or nickname and age band — used to keep content age appropriate.
- The mood a child selects during a check-in, so we can suggest content that might help them feel a little better.
We do not require a child's real name, school, location, or contact details.
What we will never do
No ads. No open uploads. No tracking children across the web.
- No advertising or ad-based tracking, ever.
- No selling or sharing of personal information with data brokers.
- No public comments or open uploads on children's profiles.
- No behaviour-based recommendation engine that optimises for watch time.
Your rights
You're in charge
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about your family, correct it, export it, or delete it at any time. Just email us and we'll take care of it.
